அண்டம் எழுகோடி பிண்டம் எழுகோடி
தெண்டிரை சூழ்ந்த திசைகள் எழுகோடி
எண்டிசை சூழ்ந்த இலிங்கம் எழுகோடி
அண்டன் நடம்செயும் ஆலயந் தானே.
English Meaning:
Septenary Centres of Cosmic DanceSeven Crores are the universes vast,
Seven Crores are the life forms varied,
Seven Crores the continents of the sea-girt world,
Seven Crores the Lingas in directions eight
These the Temples where His Cosmic Dance performed are.
Tamil Meaning:
அளவின்றி உள்ள அண்டங்கள், பிண்டங்கள், (உடல்கள்) பிருதிவி அண்டங்கள் தோறும் உள்ள அளவற்ற எழுவகைக் கடல்கள், அவைகளால் சூழப்பட்ட எழுவகைத் தீவுகள், எல்லாத் திசைகளிலும் நிறைந்துள்ள அளவற்ற மூர்த்தங்கள் இவை அனைத்தும் சிதாகாச வெளியில் உள்ள சிவன் நடனம் புரியும் இடங்களாம்.Special Remark:
``எழுகோடி`` என்றது அளவின்மையைக் குறித்தபடி. ``திை\\\\u2970?`` என்பது `இடம்` என்னும் பொருட்டாய்த் தீவுகளைக் குறித்தது.இதனால், அளவிலா, எல்லா இடங்களிலும் திருக்கூத்து நிகழும் அற்புதம் கூறப்பட்டது.
