வெள்ளிவெண் திங்கள் விளங்கும் புதன்இடம்
ஒள்ளிய மந்தன் இரவிசெவ் வாய்வலம்
வள்ளிய பொன்னே வளரும் பிறையிடம்
தெள்ளிய தேய்பிறை தான்வல மாமே.

English Meaning:

Days of the Week and the Course of Breath
Through Left and Right Nadis

On Fridays, Mondays and Wednesdays,
Prana dominates in the nadi that is to left;
On Saturdays, Sundays and Tuesdays
It courses high in the right;
On Thursdays
Prana flows in the left
In the waxing moon`s fortnight;
And in the right in the waning moon`s fortnight.

Tamil Meaning:

கிழமைகள் ஏழனுள், `வெள்ளி, திங்கள், புதன்` என்னும் மூன்றில் இடநாடி வழியாகவும், `சனி, ஞாயிறு, செவ்வாய்` என்னும் மூன்றில் வலநாடி வழியாகவும், வியாழனில் வளர் பிறையாயின் இடநாடி வழியாகவும், தேய் பிறையாயின் வல நாடி வழியாகவும் இயங்குதல் உடல் நலத்திற்கு ஏற்புடைய இயற்கைப் பிராண இயக்கமாகும்.

Special Remark:

எனவே, மாறி இயங்குதல் உடல் நலத்திற்குப் பொருந்தாது என்பதாம்.
இதனால், சர ஓட்டத்தின் இயற்கைத் தன்மை கூறப்பட்டது.
